Please search for Arenal d'en Castell, rather than simply “Ses Casetes”, as this will give you the most reliable directions.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in: From 3:00pm
Check-out: By 10:00am
Your key and access information will be provided separately before your arrival.
Parking
There are no allocated parking spaces at Ses Casetes. Free parking is available on the road and in the parking bays overlooking the beach.
Please do not park in the bays directly opposite Ses Casetes.
Help During Your Stay
Dee & Paul Brookfield – VIP Property Management look after the cleaning, laundry and maintenance of the villa.
If anything isn't working as it should, please let them know. We'd much rather have a problem sorted quickly than have it affect your holiday.

Bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and tea towels are provided.
Travel Cot & Highchair
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
We have fitted cot sheets and lightweight coverlets available; however, for safer sleep we don't routinely make the cot up with additional bedding.
As Menorca can be very warm, parents should choose sleepwear and bedding appropriate for their baby's age and the room temperature. Many parents prefer to bring their baby's usual, correctly rated sleeping bag.
Please let us know if you would like a fitted cot sheet or coverlet provided.

Wi-Fi & Smart TV
Free Wi-Fi is provided. You'll find the password in the villa.
The Smart TV allows you to sign in to your own streaming services, such as Netflix.
Please remember to log out of your accounts before you leave.
Cleaning & Towels
For two-week stays, an interim clean and linen change will normally take place around the middle of your holiday.
One bath towel and one hand towel per person are provided each week.
Additional cleaning or fresh towels may be available by arrangement with Dee at VIP.
Spare blankets can be found in the wardrobes.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is shared by 8 Ses Casetes properties.
Please shower before entering the pool and supervise children at all times.
Please help us keep the pool area clean and tidy by taking food, drinks and rubbish back to the villa with you.
Sun loungers and parasols are provided for your use.
Non-breakable cups, plates and glasses are provided for use around the swimming pool and for children.
Air Conditioning & Keeping Cool
The air-conditioning unit is located in the lounge and is operated by a coin meter above the breakfast bar.
The meter accepts €1 coins and €1 currently provides 6 hours of heating or cooling.
Please keep doors and windows closed while the air conditioning is running.
The villa also has ceiling fans. Keeping the shutters closed during the day will help keep the villa cooler.
Hot Water & Shower
Hot water is supplied by an electric hot-water cylinder rather than an unlimited boiler.
If several people shower one after another, the cylinder may need a little time to reheat.
Washing Machine
The washing machine is located at the rear of the property.
Please return the laundry basket and pegs to the washing machine area after use and leave the washing-machine door slightly open when you've finished.
A larger drying area is available at the top of the pool area, up the slope to the left and behind the wall.
Rubbish & Recycling
Communal bins for general rubbish and recycling are located up the hill along the road and near the beach.
Please empty the villa bins regularly, particularly during the warmer months.
Ants
Ants are an unavoidable part of Mediterranean life and can appear very quickly if food or sugary drinks are left out.
Keeping food covered or refrigerated, wiping up spills promptly and emptying the rubbish regularly usually keeps them under control.
Please also clear up any food, drinks or rubbish around the pool.
Safe & Security
The safe is located in the master-bedroom wardrobe and is available for passports, money and other valuables.
Please lock the villa securely whenever you go out, just as you would at home.
Windows can be left in the tilted ventilation position where appropriate, and keeping the shutters closed during the hottest part of the day will help keep the villa cooler.
First Aid
A first-aid kit is located in the bathroom cupboard.
Please let Dee or Paul know if you notice that anything needs replenishing.
Maintenance & Breakages
If anything isn't working properly, is damaged or needs replacing, please contact Paul or Dee.
We would much rather know about a problem straight away and have the opportunity to put it right than have it spoil your holiday.
Grocery Shopping & Delivery
There are supermarkets in and around Arenal d'en Castell for everyday essentials, with larger supermarkets available around Mahon and Es Mercadal.
Opening hours can vary throughout the season and on Sundays and public holidays, so we recommend checking Google Maps for current opening times rather than relying on printed information.
